The Leviathan Down!
Less than a fortnight has passed since Phoenix Unity taught that crafty Venril what it's like to feel their wrath, and today, Leviathan learned that same lesson. Despite being slightly short of a full raid force, the Leviathan was slain, granting mythical updates to many, and opening the doors of Veeshan's Peak.
Not content with just the one success, we headed straight to Veeshan's Peak, and confirmed our status as a VP raid guild by slaughtering the first named. Kluzen the Protector lies dead, and Phoenix Unity can celebrate becoming a VP raid guild! Congratulations Phoenix Unity! *Raises glass*
The legendary guild Phoenix Unity has attained level 70!

Guild Ding!
The upcoming Guild Halls prompted many of our hard-working members to even greater efforts, and the results were swift! In record time, Phoenix Unity has achieved level 70, and will be rewarded with the plushest Guild Hall as soon as construction is complete. Mine's the penthouse suite!

Even that wily Venril's ample bag of tricks proved insufficient to keep Phoenix Unity at bay for long. Congratulations to Phoenix Unity on becoming a tier 3 raiding Guild! Now only The Leviathan stands between us and Veeshan's Peak......and he's already quaking in his boots!

The Overking Slain!
The Overking is dead! After a very, very close fight on Wednesday, we went back in on Sunday and killed him first time - flawlessly. An overdue death for the King of the Di'zok!

Guild Ding!
Grats to the guild for reaching level 60! Thanks to everyone that has made this possible in such a short time. New cloaks with be on their way soon and we are now only 15 lvls from pink horses! ;)
Additional news, Laeluna has stepped up to the gauntlet and taken on the role of guild leader. We all know that she will take on the challenge with commitment and enthusiasm, enabling Phoenix Unity to reach new heights!

Retro Raiding!
I have a sneaking suspicion our auspicious leader, Septimal, was having an April Fool’s joke on the members of Phoenix Unity when he arranged an “alts” off day retro raid... only the joke was on him as we all turned up!
So, all playing different classes of varying lowbie levels we ventured out in to the older realms of Norrath in search of a good bashing! With 2.4 groups of lvl 50ish (mentored or just little) we claimed the following victories:

Phoenix Unity can claim its second RoK contested victory!
On our way to the Temple Of Kor'sha we thought we would pay our respects to Dominus Rile in Rilliss. Unluckily for Dominus Rile, we are not very respectful! Within a few seconds of engaging the Domini, he lay dead, face in the dust.
Having only been visiting T2 for a couple of weeks, only the Overking and Venril stand in our way between us and T3.
Finding the trash and early named in the Temple Of Kor’sha meeting an abrupt demise, we discovered the twins, Kodux and Zarda to be a little more resourceful. On our third attempt we reined them in, tidily bringing them to their deaths.
Once again, congratulations to Phoenix Unity and its outstanding raid force!

Phoenix Unity can claim its first RoK contested victory!
On an off-day raid, while considering the fate of our adventurers, Dominus Chottal appeared in the Kunzar Jungle. He was begging to be taught the wrath of the Phoenix’s fiery blades. On the third pull he was downed, collapsing at our feet!
Congratulations to all those guild members there to see his death! Unluckily for Dominus Chottal he had decided to reappear in a second instance of Kunzar Jungle... his death was swift.
Tier 1 Complete! PR, ETR, Thuuga... clear!

"Amidst the ruined lands of Kunark, a fear has seeped in to the hearts of the ancient warlords. Both Sarnak and Iksar cower as an uneasy quiet settles over the land, for a storm is coming... ...only this storm has a name... Phoenix Unity!"
As we move in to our third month as Phoenix Unity, we can look back on an awesome ten weeks and excitedly look forward to what T2 has in store for our hardened adventurers! The first to fall to our wrath in T8 were the inhabitants and traitorous adventurers (the Four Dudes) of The Protector’s Realm, moving the zone to farm status immediately. Shortly after our victory in PR, drunk on blood lust, we taught the Dracnid Queen that her webs and spiderlings were no match for our swift strikes.
Only Pawbuster remained standing, taking advice from Mayong, he used server updates and emergency patches against us. He even bribed the devs, convincing them to fix the script forcing us to use the liquidizer to send him to his death. Still fearing his demise he sent the finest Drolvarg wenches to convince SOE to swing the nerf bat at Peel. Starting to feel safe again he was in fact only prolonging his inevitable death, he finally fell AFTER the nerf to peel!
On the raid evening Pawbuster fell, we also cleared PR and Thuuga, so this officially moves T1 on to farm status. So, raise your glasses and join me in a cheer to each and every member of Phoenix Unity. Together we have an exceptional raid force, now let us take our ‘A’ game to the next tier!
Venril and Selrach won’t know what’s hit them!
